The sculpture was made by architect Tsvetan Simeonov, by order of a client, for the decoration of an establishment on the shore of the marina in the town of Sozopol.
The composition recreates the movement of the sea and is inspired by Petya Dubarova's poem - "Sea Wave":
"...She carries a mystery with her breath—
the breath of the endless blue sea
with its vastness boundless..."
