PROJECT DESKRIPTION:
In four neighboring landed properties in the village of Marinka, Burgas municipality, owned by two friends and business partners, are freely located (subject to regulatory distances) one-storey buildings, named respectively Building 1, Building 2, Building 3 and Building 4. The first two buildings are designated for use by the owners, and the close relationship between them also determines the parking for the two parcels provided with a common passage. Building 3 is for the parents of one of the owners and Building 4 is for sale.
Although located in separate plots, the uniform shape, geometry and style of the buildings, as well as the materials used for the facade claddings, unites them, thus forming a single architectural ensemble.
The buildings are monolithic, designed to provide maximum functionality and privacy for each of the occupants and guests. The design allocation decision is almost identical:
- facing the street is a living group in which different corners are separated in one common space: cooking, eating and resting. Large glass showcases, designed along the entire length of the front facade, incorporate the outer space and porch not only visually but also as an area, by means of a sliding system;
- the night group is located at the bottom of the plots and there are three bedrooms, the main one having individual (separate) bathrooms (WC and bathroom) and a dressing room.
The facade cladding is a combination of natural materials (wood, metal and glass) and a ventilated facade system consisting entirely of extruded Al elements in color - graphite black. The wood decor is natural in color and is used not only for facade cladding but also for decking-covered verandas. Mixing materials gives the buildings a dense, rich and harmonious look.
An interesting accent is the space in front of the bedrooms of building 2, where the raised glazed roof extends from the covered porch to the inside of the entrance hall.
