"The wave" is a plastic composition determined by the alternation of wood circles. The peaks in the curve correspond to the core of the wood. In fact, the composition was made to see the possibilities of my homemade router and to follow the behavior of the wood during the corresponding cuts and the drying of the elements in a microwave dryer.
This plastic proved the resistance to cracking with time of the wooden elements after the respective cutting and allowed the development of the technology of cutting - drying and collecting the wood. This will lead to the possibility of making sustainable products from wood in its entirety - containing the core with the tree rings and will lead to a fuller expression of the essence of wood as the goal of the "mood wood" project
The tree is ash with a log thickness of 40 cm.
